I
She Sleeps
In darkness she weeps,
In stillness she sleeps,
And whispers surround
Where only emptiness is found.
Light drowns,
Submerging beneath the ground,
As shadows turn to form,
Beneath the shattered and torn.
She grasps
She clings
She weeps
She sleeps.
II
When She Wakes
She gives not in,
Light grows within.
Embers smolder,
Flames grow bolder.
What darkness created,
Light has fated…
To form,
To shape,
To mold,
To create…
…When she wakes.
